MOM AND ME: This is for Dad's, too! Young dancers (with Mom or Dad in the room) ages 18 months to 3 years are given an introduction to their first dance class. Classroom etiquette, working with others, small and large motor skill development, hand-eye coordination, and creative movement are all a part of this fun 45-minute class.
PRESCHOOL: Our wonderful 3-4-5's not yet in school are given a class that includes Pre-ballet, Tap, and Acrobatics continuing to develop motor skills, creative dance, and social interaction on their very own! Our "Kombo Kids" are featured each June in our exclusive Mini Revue!
K-1: Our many years of dance teaching experience has taught us many things, too! Once the little ones begin school they are open to learning new things and can stay focused on one subject during the class time. The 5-6's can choose ballet, tap, jazz, acro, or Hip Hop in an hour-long class we've developed just for their age. These "K-1 Kids" are also featured in the June Mini Revue!
REGULAR PROGRAM: Students ages 7 (second grade) and up are offered Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro, and Hip Hop. We offer classes to all ages and all levels. Evaluations may be necessary to make sure the students are placed in the right class. For older, more experienced students, we offer Lyrical, Contemporary, Pointe, and Company level classes.

by the lesson $20 per class

all tuition is due the 25th of the month

MINI REVUE
Every June, our "Kombo and K-1 Kids" have their very own recital which includes the 3-6's in a shorter production. Guest Artists from the SDA Companies perform as well.
BIG SHOW
In June, students ages 7 and up perform in the annual production which includes a short Ballet immediately followed by the variety section. It includes Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Acro giving all our students the chance to perform!
THE NUTCRACKER
Produced by the Jataba Dance Troupe, these dancers perform this annual family holiday favorite every December.

Spisak Dance Academy offers the more serious students an opportunity to audition for its
dance companies. Auditions are held every August and adjudicated by a panel of independent judges.
The Jataba Dance Troupe--established in 1980
The separate, non-profit company is run by a Board of Directors. Members ages 12-18 are recipients of scholarships from the Toney Spisak Scholarship Fund for Workshops, Most Improved, Graduating Senior, and DMA's Teachers' Training School. The Troupe produces "The Nutcracker" ballet every December. Check thSDA Dance Company Handbook for further information.
SDA Performing Groups and SDA Jr. Company --for the younger dancers 7-12
These two groups are a foundation for more advanced study and performances in preparation for becoming a member of the Jataba Dance Troupe. The SDA Company Handbook explains more.
Competitive Artists --Some company members compete in two to three competitions per year.
